As working women and mums, we are busy enough as
it is. But I think many of you would share how I feel – I still
want to look good (read: Play with makeup), dress confidently,
and have more time to spend with the people I love.
That’s sparked the focus of this issue. The team has come up with
articles to help you craft more time out of your day. In “The Makeup Maestros”,
page 32, beauty insiders share tricks to speed up your beauty regime and if you
haven’t got it already, you’ve got to pick up the ONE product Beauty Editor
Arissa Ha says will give you an instant facelift. See “Get Your Glow”, page 29.
Also, who’s got time to track fashion trends? What we’ve done is to break
down what’s hot on the Autumn/Winter runways and show you how to work
these looks in real life – see, hours of surfing and window-shopping saved! You’ll
be surprised at how easy it is to update your look with just a pair of earrings. Find
the on-trend ones, from $18, on “Switch Up Your Style”, page 58. I love that they
               are also face slimming!
Oh, talking about slimming, find out how you can tone up all your
problem areas with our easy-yet-effective exercise routine in “Burn
Fat Faster”, page 76. It includes compound moves which target
different muscles at the same time, so you’re having a
               shorter, more efficient workout.
Other speedy solutions include the one-dish
meals in “Pasta Night”, page 83; and “Easy,
Quickie Makeovers", page 91, to give your
space a refresh. With all these, we truly hope
you have that bit more time for family and, more
               importantly, for you.
